^9 (A)The grain offering and the drink offering
Have been cut off from the house of the Lord;
The priests ^(B)mourn, who minister to the Lord.

¹⁷ Let the priests, who minister to the Lord,
Weep ^(A)between the porch and the altar;
Let them say, ^(B)“Spare Your people, O Lord,
And do not give Your heritage to reproach,
That the nations should ^[a]rule over them.
^(C)Why should they say among the peoples,
‘Where is their God?’ ”

^14 (A)Who knows if He will turn and relent,
And leave ^(B)a blessing behind Him—
^(C)A grain offering and a drink offering
For the Lord your God?

^13 (A)Gird yourselves and lament, you priests;
Wail, you who minister before the altar;
Come, lie all night in sackcloth,
You who minister to my God;
For the grain offering and the drink offering
Are withheld from the house of your God.

⁴ They shall not offer wine offerings to the Lord,
Nor ^(A)shall their ^(B)sacrifices be pleasing to Him.
It shall be like bread of mourners to them;
All who eat it shall be defiled.
For their bread shall be for their own life;
It shall not come into the house of the Lord.

^6 (A)But you shall be named the priests of the Lord,
They shall call you the servants of our God.
^(B)You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles,
And in their glory you shall boast.

¹⁶ Is not the food ^(A)cut off before our eyes,
^(B)Joy and gladness from the house of our God?
