14 Multitudes, multitudes,
in the valley of decision!
For (A)the day of the Lord is near
in the valley of decision.
15 (B)The sun and the moon are darkened,
and the stars withdraw their shining.
16 (C)The Lord roars from Zion,
and (D)utters his voice from Jerusalem,
(E)and the heavens and the earth quake.
But the Lord is (F)a refuge to his people,
a stronghold to the people of Israel.

15 The sun and moon will be darkened,
and the stars no longer shine.(E)
16 The Lord will roar(F) from Zion
and thunder from Jerusalem;(G)
the earth and the heavens will tremble.(H)
But the Lord will be a refuge(I) for his people,
a stronghold(J) for the people of Israel.
