10 The earth quakes before them;(A)
the sky shakes.
The sun and moon grow dark,(B)
and the stars cease their shining.(C)
11 The Lord raises His voice(D)
in the presence of His army.(E)
His camp is very large;
Those who carry out His command are powerful.(F)
Indeed, the Day of the Lord is terrible and dreadful(G)
who can endure it?(H)

this is the Lord’s declaration—
turn to Me with all your heart,(I)
with fasting, weeping, and mourning.(J)
