5 Una vez terminado el ciclo de los banquetes, Job se aseguraba de que sus hijos se purificaran. Muy de mañana ofrecía un holocausto por cada uno de ellos, pues pensaba: «Tal vez mis hijos hayan pecado y maldecido[a] en su corazón a Dios». Para Job esta era una costumbre cotidiana.

New International Version
5 When a period of feasting had run its course, Job would make arrangements for them to be purified.(A) Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering(B) for each of them, thinking, “Perhaps my children have sinned(C) and cursed God(D) in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular custom.
