Job 9:24-26

²⁴The earth^[a] is handed over to the wicked;
he blindfolds^[b] its judges.^(A)
If it isn’t he, then who is it?

²⁵My days fly by faster than a runner;^[c]^(B)
they flee without seeing any good.^(C)
²⁶They sweep by like boats made of papyrus,
like an eagle swooping down on its prey.^(D)
