Job 7:6-10
Legacy Standard Bible
7 “Remember that my life (C)is but wind;
My eye will (D)not again see good.
8 The (E)eye of him who sees me will behold me no longer;
Your eyes will be on me, but (F)I will not be.
9 A (G)cloud vanishes, and it is gone,
So (H)he who goes down to (I)Sheol does not come up.
10 He will not return again to his house,
Nor will (J)his place recognize him anymore.
Job 7:6-10
Christian Standard Bible
6 My days pass more swiftly than a weaver’s shuttle;
they come to an end without hope.(A)
7 Remember that my life is but a breath.
My eye will never again see anything good.(B)
8 The eye of anyone who looks on me
will no longer see me.
Your eyes will look for me, but I will be gone.(C)
9 As a cloud fades away and vanishes,
so the one who goes down to Sheol(D) will never rise again.
10 He will never return to his house;
his hometown will no longer remember[a] him.(E)
