¹⁰ He shall never return to his house,
^(A)Nor shall his place know him anymore.

^18 (A)If he is destroyed from his place,
Then it will deny him, saying, ‘I have not seen you.’

^16 (A)For the wind passes over it, and it is ^[a]gone,
And ^(B)its place remembers it no more.

⁹ The eye that saw him will see him no more,
Nor will his place behold him anymore.

²³ Men shall clap their hands at him,
And shall hiss him out of his place.

²¹ The east wind carries him away, and he is gone;
It sweeps him out of his place.
