¹⁰ He will never come to his house again;
    his place^(A) will know him no more.^(B)

¹⁸ But when it is torn from its spot,
    that place disowns^(A) it and says, ‘I never saw you.’^(B)

¹⁶ the wind blows^(A) over it and it is gone,
    and its place^(B) remembers it no more.

⁹ The eye that saw him will not see him again;
    his place will look on him no more.^(A)

²³ It claps its hands^(A) in derision
    and hisses him out of his place.”^(B)

²¹ The east wind^(A) carries him off, and he is gone;^(B)
    it sweeps him out of his place.^(C)
