Job 6:3-5
New King James Version
3 For then it would be heavier than the sand of the sea—
Therefore my words have been rash.
4 (A)For the arrows of the Almighty are within me;
My spirit drinks in their poison;
(B)The terrors of God are arrayed (C)against me.
5 Does the (D)wild donkey bray when it has grass,
Or does the ox low over its fodder?
Job 6:3-5
1599 Geneva Bible
3 For it would be now heavier than the sand of the sea: therefore my words are [a]swallowed up.
4 For the arrows of the Almighty are in me, the venom whereof doth drink up my spirit, and the terrors of God [b]fight against me.
5 Doth the [c]wild ass bray when he hath grass? or loweth the ox when he hath fodder?
