²⁹ Turn, I pray; let no wrong be done.
    Turn now; my vindication is at stake.

¹⁰ But you, come back now, all of you,
    and I shall not find a sensible person among you.

⁶ therefore I despise myself
    and repent in dust and ashes.”^(A)

⁵ For Job has said, ‘I am innocent,
    and God has taken away my right;

⁴ my lips will not speak falsehood,
    and my tongue will not utter deceit.^(A)
5 Far be it from me to say that you are right;
    until I die I will not put away my integrity from me.^(B)
6 I hold fast my righteousness and will not let it go;
    my heart will not reproach me as long as I live.^(C)

¹⁰ But he knows the way that I take;
    when he has tested me, I shall come out like gold.^(A)
