Job 6:25-27
New King James Version
25 How forceful are right words!
But what does your arguing prove?
26 Do you intend to rebuke my words,
And the speeches of a desperate one, which are as wind?
27 Yes, you overwhelm the fatherless,
And you (A)undermine your friend.
Job 6:25-27
English Standard Version
25 How forceful are upright words!
But what does reproof from you reprove?
26 Do you think that you can reprove words,
when the speech of a despairing man is (A)wind?
27 You would even (B)cast lots over the fatherless,
and bargain over your friend.
Job 6:25-27
nuBibeln (Swedish Contemporary Bible)
25 Det är smärtsamt att höra sanningen,
men vad bevisar era argument?[a]
26 Tänker ni rätta till vad jag har sagt,
betrakta den desperates ord som vind?
27 Det vore som att kasta lott om ett föräldralöst barn
eller som att sälja en vän.
