²⁵ You will know that your children will be many,^(A)
    and your descendants like the grass of the earth.^(B)

² Their children^(A) will be mighty in the land;
    the generation of the upright will be blessed.

¹⁶ May grain^(A) abound throughout the land;
    on the tops of the hills may it sway.
May the crops^(B) flourish like Lebanon^(C)
    and thrive^[a] like the grass of the field.^(D)

⁵ May the Lord bless you from Zion;^(F)
    may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem^(G)
    all the days of your life.
⁶ May you live to see your children’s children—^(H)
    peace be on Israel.^(I)

³ Children are a heritage from the Lord,
    offspring a reward^(A) from him.
⁴ Like arrows^(B) in the hands of a warrior
    are children born in one’s youth.
⁵ Blessed is the man
    whose quiver is full of them.^(C)
They will not be put to shame
    when they contend with their opponents^(D) in court.^(E)
