⁶ And I will grant peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and no one shall make you afraid; I will remove dangerous animals from the land, and no sword shall go through your land.^(A)

¹⁸ I will make for you^[a] a covenant on that day with the wild animals, the birds of the air, and the creeping things of the ground, and I will abolish^[b] the bow, the sword, and war from the land, and I will make you^[c] lie down in safety.^(A)

²² My God sent his angel and shut the lions’ mouths so that they would not hurt me, because I was found blameless before him; also before you, O king, I have done no wrong.”^(A)

³⁸ For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,^{(A) 39} nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

¹⁵ If I send wild animals through the land to ravage it so that it is made desolate and no one may pass through because of the animals,^{(A) 16} even if these three men were in it, as I live, says the Lord God, they would save neither sons nor daughters; they alone would be saved, but the land would be desolate.
