²² You shall laugh at destruction and famine,
And ^(A)you shall not be afraid of the ^(B)beasts of the earth.

^9 (A)No lion shall be there,
Nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it;
It shall not be found there.
But the redeemed shall walk there,

¹³ You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

¹⁸ In that day I will make a ^(A)covenant for them
With the beasts of the field,
With the birds of the air,
And with the creeping things of the ground.
Bow and sword of battle ^(B)I will shatter from the earth,
To make them ^(C)lie down safely.

²⁵ The ^(A)wolf and the lamb shall feed together,
The lion shall eat straw like the ox,
^(B)And dust shall be the serpent’s food.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,”
Says the Lord.
