⁹ So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite^(A) did what the Lord told them; and the Lord accepted Job’s prayer.^(B)

⁸ By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance,^(A) obeyed and went,^(B) even though he did not know where he was going.

⁶ “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”^(A)

³³ So I sent for you immediately, and it was good of you to come. Now we are all here in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has commanded you to tell us.”

The Wise and Foolish Builders^(A)

²⁴ “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice^(B) is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

⁵ His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”^(A)

⁷ Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine^(A) with a joyful heart,^(B) for God has already approved what you do.
