⁶Then ^(A)Yahweh answered Job out of the ^[a]whirlwind and said,

⁷“Now ^(B)gird up your loins like a man;
I will ^(C)ask you, and you make Me know.

New English Translation

⁶Then the Lord answered^[b] Job from the whirlwind:

⁷“Get ready for a difficult task^[c] like a man.
I will question you and you will inform me.
