Then Job answered the Lord and said:

“Behold, I am (A)of small account; what shall I answer you?
    (B)I lay my hand on my mouth.
I have spoken (C)once, and I will not answer;
    (D)twice, but I will proceed no further.”

Then Job replied to the Lord. He said:

“I must look insignificant to you!
    How can I answer you?
        I’m speechless.[a]
I spoke once,
    but I can’t answer;
I tried[b] a second time,
