¹² Now when the sun was going down, ^(A)a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and behold, horror and great darkness fell upon him.

²¹ And the Lord God caused a ^(A)deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.

⁹ Yet I heard the sound of his words; and while I heard the sound of his words I was in a deep sleep on my face, with my face to the ground.

^18 (A)Now, as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep with my face to the ground; ^(B)but he touched me, and stood me upright.

^28 (A)But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar ^(B)what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, were these: ²⁹ As for you, O king, thoughts came to your mind while on your bed, about what would come to pass after this; ^(C)and He who reveals secrets has made known to you what will be.

¹⁹ Then the secret was revealed to Daniel ^(A)in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

¹⁹ Now therefore, please, you also ^(A)stay here tonight, that I may know what more the Lord will say to me.”

^20 (B)And God came to Balaam at night and said to him, “If the men come to call you, rise and go with them; but ^(C)only the word which I speak to you—that you shall do.”
