¹⁸ Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth?^(A)
    Tell me, if you know all this.^(B)

“Only if the heavens above can be measured^(A)
    and the foundations of the earth below be searched out
will I reject^(B) all the descendants of Israel
    because of all they have done,”
declares the Lord.

¹¹ The heavens are yours,^(A) and yours also the earth;^(B)
    you founded the world and all that is in it.^(C)
12 You created the north and the south;
    Tabor^(D) and Hermon^(E) sing for joy^(F) at your name.

²⁸ Do you not know?
    Have you not heard?^(A)
The Lord is the everlasting^(B) God,
    the Creator^(C) of the ends of the earth.^(D)
He will not grow tired or weary,^(E)
    and his understanding no one can fathom.^(F)

¹⁷ It was you who set all the boundaries^(A) of the earth;
    you made both summer and winter.^(B)

²⁴ for he views the ends of the earth^(A)
    and sees everything under the heavens.^(B)
