⁶ For ^(A)He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth’;
Likewise to the ^[a]gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength.

²⁷ For He ^(A)draws up drops of water,
Which distill as rain from the mist,

^16 (A)He gives snow like wool;
He scatters the frost like ashes;
¹⁷ He casts out His hail like ^[a]morsels;
Who can stand before His cold?
^18 (B)He sends out His word and melts them;
He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow.

⁶ He who builds His ^(A)layers^[a] in the sky,
And has founded His strata in the earth;
Who ^(B)calls for the waters of the sea,
And pours them out on the face of the earth—
^(C)The Lord is His name.

⁸ Fire and hail, snow and clouds;
Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
