⁵ God ^(A)thunders wondrously with His voice,
Doing ^(B)great things which we do not comprehend.
⁶ For to ^(C)the snow He says, ‘Fall on the earth,’
And to the ^[a](D)downpour and the rain, ‘Be strong.’
⁷ He ^(E)seals the hand of every person,
So that ^(F)all people may know His work.
⁸ Then the animal goes into its ^(G)lair
And remains in its ^[b]den.
⁹ From the ^[c](H)south comes the storm,
And from the north wind the cold.
¹⁰ From the breath of God ^(I)ice is made,
And the expanse of the waters is frozen.
¹¹ He also ^(J)loads the clouds with moisture;
He ^(K)disperses ^(L)the cloud of His ^[d]lightning.
¹² It changes direction, turning around by His guidance,
That ^[e]it may do whatever He ^(M)commands ^[f]it
On the ^(N)face of the inhabited earth.
¹³ Whether for ^[g](O)correction, or for ^(P)His earth,
Or for ^(Q)goodness, He causes it to ^[h]happen.
