⁵ For Job has said, ‘I am ^(A)in the right,
    and ^(B)God has taken away my right;

⁹ You say, ‘I am ^(A)pure, without ^(B)transgression;
    I am clean, and there is no iniquity in me.

¹⁷ although there is no ^(A)violence in my hands,
    and my prayer is pure.

¹⁴ I ^(A)put on righteousness, and it clothed me;
    my justice was like a robe and ^(B)a turban.

⁴ For ^(A)you say, ‘My ^(B)doctrine is pure,
    and I am clean in God's^[a] eyes.’

⁷ although you ^(A)know that I am not guilty,
    and there is ^(B)none to deliver out of your hand?

¹⁷ For he crushes me with a tempest
    and multiplies my wounds ^(A)without cause;
