Job 34:35-37
Legacy Standard Bible
35 ‘Job (A)speaks without knowledge,
And his words are without insight.
36 Job ought to be tested [a]to the limit
Because he answers (B)like wicked men.
37 For he adds (C)transgression to his sin;
He (D)strikes his hands together among us,
And multiplies his words against God.’”

Job 34:35-37
Evangelical Heritage Version
35 “Job speaks without knowledge,
and his words reveal a lack of understanding.”
36 I wish that Job would be tested to the limit,
because he responds like a wicked man.
37 Yes, he even adds rebellion to his sin.
Among us he shows his contempt by clapping his hands,
and he multiplies his words against God.

35 ‘Job(A) speaks without knowledge,
His words are without wisdom.’
36 Oh, that Job were tried to the utmost,
Because his answers are like those of wicked men!

He claps his hands among us,
And multiplies his words against God.”
