²⁷ because they turned aside from following him
    and had no regard for any of his ways,^(A)

⁵ Because they do not regard the works of the Lord
    or the work of his hands,
he will break them down and build them up no more.^(A)

⁵ who sing idle songs to the sound of the harp
    and like David improvise on instruments of music,^(A)

⁶ who drink wine from bowls
    and anoint themselves with the finest oils
    but are not grieved over the ruin of Joseph!^(A)
