8 Ngunit ang karunungan ay saan ba nagbubuhat?
    Di ba sa Diyos na Makapangyarihan?
9 Ngunit hindi dahil matanda ay may pang-unawa,
    hindi dahil may edad na'y alam na ang tama.
10 Kaya makinig kayo ngayon sa aking sasabihin,
    itong aking opinyon, inyo namang dinggin.

9 It is not only the old[b] who are wise,(D)
    not only the aged(E) who understand what is right.(F)

10 “Therefore I say: Listen to me;(G)
    I too will tell you what I know.(H)
