38 “If my (A)land cries out against me,
And its furrows weep together;
39 If I have (B)eaten its [a]fruit without money,
Or have (C)caused [b]its owners to lose their lives,
40 May the (D)thorn-bush [c]grow instead of wheat,
And stinkweed instead of barley.”
