    and its eyes are like the eyelids of the dawn.^(A)

    before he brings darkness
and before your feet stumble
    on the mountains at twilight;
while you look for light,
    he turns it into gloom
    and makes it deep darkness.^(A)

¹⁵ We look for peace but find no good,
    for a time of healing, but there is terror instead.^(A)

²⁶ But when I looked for good, evil came,
