8 Må den förbannas av dem som besvärja dagar, av dem som förmå mana upp Leviatan.
9 Må dess grynings stjärnor förmörkas, efter ljus må den bida, utan att det kommer, morgonrodnadens ögonbryn må den aldrig få se;
10 eftersom den ej tillslöt dörrarna till min moders liv, ej lät olyckan förbliva dold för mina ögon.

9 Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day:
10 Because it shut not up the doors of my mother's womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes.
