⁵ As for the earth, out of it comes bread,
    but underneath it is turned up as by fire.^(A)

¹³ You were in Eden, the garden of God;
    every precious stone was your covering,
carnelian, chrysolite, and moonstone,
    beryl, onyx, and jasper,
sapphire,^[a] turquoise, and emerald;
    and worked in gold were your settings
    and your engravings.^[b]
On the day that you were created
    they were prepared.^(A)
14 You were a cherub;^[c]
    I placed you on the holy mountain of God;
    you walked among the stones of fire.^(B)

²⁵ When they have leveled its surface,
    do they not scatter dill, sow cumin,
and plant wheat in rows
    and barley in its proper place^[a]
    and spelt as the border?
²⁶ For they are well instructed;
    their God teaches them.
