²⁴ for he views the ends of the earth^(A)
    and sees everything under the heavens.^(B)

¹² At his direction they swirl around
    over the face of the whole earth
    to do whatever he commands them.^(A)

¹⁵ Do you know how God controls the clouds
    and makes his lightning^(A) flash?^(B)

¹⁴ He shot his arrows^(A) and scattered the enemy,
    with great bolts of lightning^(B) he routed them.^(C)

⁷ The voice of the Lord strikes
    with flashes of lightning.^(A)
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
    the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.^(B)
9 The voice of the Lord twists the oaks^[a](C)
    and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”^(D)
