25 Entonces Bildad de Súah respondió:
2 «La autoridad y el terror le pertenecen
al que hace reinar la paz en sus alturas.
3 ¿Acaso puede contarse el número de sus ejércitos?
¿Sobre quién no se irradia su luz?
4 ¿Quién puede permanecer sin tacha ante él?
¿Qué ser humano puede decir que es puro?
5 Ante sus ojos ni la luna brilla;
ni las estrellas son puras.
6 Mucho menos lo son los seres humanos, que son como gusanos.
Un ser humano es un simple gusano».

25 Then Bildad the Shuhite(A) replied:
2 “Dominion and awe belong to God;(B)
he establishes order in the heights of heaven.(C)
3 Can his forces be numbered?
On whom does his light not rise?(D)
4 How then can a mortal be righteous before God?
How can one born of woman be pure?(E)
5 If even the moon(F) is not bright
and the stars are not pure in his eyes,(G)
6 how much less a mortal, who is but a maggot—
a human being,(H) who is only a worm!”(I)

Bildad speaks a third time[a]
25 Then Bildad, the man from Shuah, replied. This is what he said:
2 ‘God rules everything
and we should be afraid of his great power.
In heaven above he causes there to be peace.
3 The number of angels in his armies are too many to count.
His light shines over everyone.
4 No human is righteous when he stands in front of God.
He cannot be pure.
5 When God looks at the moon and the stars,
they do not seem to be pure and bright.
6 So when God looks at us humans,
we do not seem important to him.
To him, we are as useless as worms.’

- 25:1 In this chapter, Bildad tells Job that God is great and powerful. So we cannot do anything to help God. This does not answer Job's questions about all his troubles.

y las estrellas no son puras a sus ojos(G),
6 ¡cuánto menos el hombre(H), esa larva,
y el hijo del hombre, ese gusano(I)!
