25 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered, and said,
2 “Power and fear are with Him Who makes peace in His places.
3 “Is there any number to His armies? And upon whom shall not His light arise?
4 “And how may a man be justified with God? Or how can he be clean who is born of woman?
5 “Behold, He will give no light to the Moon. And the stars are unclean in His sight.
6 “How much less so is man (a maggot) and the son of man (a worm)?”

25 Nang magkagayo'y sumagot si Bildad na Suhita, at nagsabi,
2 Kapangyarihan at takot ay sumasa kaniya; siya'y gumagawa ng kapayapaan sa kaniyang mga mataas na dako.
3 May anomang bilang ba sa kaniyang mga hukbo? At doon sa hindi sinisikatan ng kaniyang liwanag?
4 Paano ngang makapagiging ganap ang tao sa Dios? O paanong magiging malinis siya na ipinanganak ng isang babae.
5 Narito, pati ng buwan ay walang liwanag, at ang mga bituin ay hindi dalisay sa kaniyang paningin:
6 Gaano pa nga kaliit ang tao, na isang uod! At ang anak ng tao, na isang uod!

25 Then Bildad the Shuhite(A) replied:
2 “Dominion and awe belong to God;(B)
he establishes order in the heights of heaven.(C)
3 Can his forces be numbered?
On whom does his light not rise?(D)
4 How then can a mortal be righteous before God?
How can one born of woman be pure?(E)
5 If even the moon(F) is not bright
and the stars are not pure in his eyes,(G)
6 how much less a mortal, who is but a maggot—
a human being,(H) who is only a worm!”(I)

25 Then (A)Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:

He makes peace in His high places.
3 [a]Is there any number to His armies?

Or how can he be (D)pure who is born of a woman?
