⁵ If even the moon does not shine,
And the stars are not pure in His ^(A)sight,

¹⁹ “The ^(A)sun shall no longer be your light by day,
Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you;
But the Lord will be to you an everlasting light,
And ^(B)your God your glory.
^20 (C)Your sun shall no longer go down,
Nor shall your moon withdraw itself;
For the Lord will be your everlasting light,
And the days of your mourning shall be ended.

^15 (A)If God puts no trust in His saints,
And the heavens are not pure in His sight,

²³ Then the ^(A)moon will be disgraced
And the sun ashamed;
For the Lord of hosts will ^(B)reign
On ^(C)Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
And before His elders, gloriously.

^26 (A)If I have observed the ^[a]sun when it shines,
Or the moon moving in brightness,
