¹⁰ They cause the poor to go naked, without ^(A)clothing;
And they take away the sheaves from the hungry.

⁷ They ^[a]pant after the dust of the earth which is on the head of the poor,
And ^(A)pervert the way of the humble.
^(B)A man and his father go in to the same girl,
^(C)To defile My holy name.
⁸ They lie down ^(D)by every altar on clothes ^(E)taken in pledge,
And drink the wine of ^[b]the condemned in the house of their god.

^11 (A)Therefore, because you ^[a]tread down the poor
And take grain ^[b]taxes from him,
Though ^(B)you have built houses of hewn stone,
Yet you shall not dwell in them;
You have planted ^[c]pleasant vineyards,
But you shall not drink wine from them.
¹² For I ^(C)know your manifold transgressions
And your mighty sins:
^(D)Afflicting the just and taking bribes;
^(E)Diverting the poor from justice at the gate.
