²⁶ then you will delight yourself in the Almighty^[a]
    and lift up your face to God.^(A)

¹⁴ then you shall take delight in the Lord,
    and I will make you ride upon the heights of the earth;
I will feed you with the heritage of your ancestor Jacob,
    for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.^(A)

⁴ Take delight in the Lord,
    and he will give you the desires of your heart.^(A)

¹⁰ Will they take delight in the Almighty?^[a]
    Will they call upon God at all times?^(A)

¹⁵ Surely then you will lift up your face without blemish;
    you will be secure and will not fear.^(A)

⁴ Gladden the soul of your servant,
    for to you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.^(A)

⁸ Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning,
    for in you I put my trust.
Teach me the way I should go,
    for to you I lift up my soul.^(A)

⁹ For he has said, ‘It profits one nothing
    to take delight in God.’^(A)
