⁹ “As for you, my son Solomon, ^(A)know the God of your father, and serve Him ^(B)with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for ^(C)the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. ^(D)If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will ^(E)cast you off forever.

Christ Our Peace

¹⁴ For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, ¹⁵ having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one ^(A)new man from the two, thus making peace, ¹⁶ and that He might ^(B)reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby ^(C)putting to death the enmity. ¹⁷ And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near.

⁷ and ^(A)the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

²⁰ Now then, we are ^(A)ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

³⁶ The word which God sent to the ^[a]children of Israel, ^(A)preaching peace through Jesus Christ—^(B)He is Lord of all—

^25 (A)Agree with your adversary quickly, ^(B)while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.

⁶ For it is the God ^(A)who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has ^(B)shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
