¹⁰ Therefore snares are all around you,
And sudden fear troubles you,

⁸ For ^(A)he is cast into a net by his own feet,
And he walks into a snare.
⁹ The net takes him by the heel,
And ^(B)a snare lays hold of him.
¹⁰ A noose is hidden for him on the ground,
And a trap for him in the road.

^21 (A)Withdraw Your hand far from me,
And let not the dread of You make me afraid.

^4 (A)For the arrows of the Almighty are within me;
My spirit drinks in their poison;
^(B)The terrors of God are arrayed ^(C)against me.

²⁷ When ^(A)your terror comes like a storm,
And your destruction comes like a whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you.

⁶ Upon the wicked He will rain coals;
Fire and brimstone and a burning wind
^(A)Shall be ^[a]the portion of their cup.

⁶ Know then that ^(A)God has wronged me,
And has surrounded me with His net.

^25 (A)Do not be afraid of sudden terror,
Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes;
²⁶ For the Lord will be your confidence,
And will keep your foot from being caught.
