¹² They sing to ^(A)the tambourine and ^(B)the lyre
    and rejoice to the sound of ^(C)the pipe.

^12 (A)They have lyre and harp,
    tambourine and flute and wine at their feasts,
^(B)but they do not regard the deeds of the Lord,
    or see the work of his hands.

¹³ and behold, joy and gladness,
    killing oxen and slaughtering sheep,
    eating flesh and drinking wine.
^(A)“Let us eat and drink,
    for tomorrow we die.”
