¹³ “He^(A) made him ride in the heights of the earth,
That he might eat the produce of the fields;
He made him draw honey from the rock,
And oil from the flinty rock;
¹⁴ Curds from the cattle, and milk of the flock,
^(B)With fat of lambs;
And rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats,
With the choicest wheat;
And you drank wine, the ^(C)blood of the grapes.

⁷ “Blessed^(D) is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
⁸ For he shall be ^(E)like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not ^[a]fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

¹⁷ “The poor and needy seek water, but there is none,
Their tongues fail for thirst.
I, the Lord, will hear them;
I, the God of Israel, will not ^(A)forsake them.
