Job 19:23-27
English Standard Version
23 “Oh that my words were written!
Oh that they were (A)inscribed in a book!
24 Oh that with an iron (B)pen and lead
they were engraved in the rock forever!
25 For I (C)know that my (D)Redeemer lives,
and at the last he will stand upon the (E)earth.[a]
26 And after my skin has been thus destroyed,
yet in[b] my flesh I shall (F)see God,
27 whom I shall see for myself,
and my eyes shall behold, and not (G)another.
My heart (H)faints within me!
1 Corinthians 15:19-26
English Standard Version
19 If in Christ we have hope[a] in this life only, (A)we are of all people most to be pitied.
20 But in fact (B)Christ has been raised from the dead, (C)the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For as (D)by a man came death, (E)by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For (F)as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then (G)at his coming (H)those who belong to Christ. 24 Then comes the end, when he delivers (I)the kingdom to God the Father after destroying (J)every rule and every authority and power. 25 For he must reign (K)until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be (L)destroyed is death.

The Resurrection

You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter that (N)he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, (O)just as he told you.” 8 And they went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had seized them, and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.
