⁸ For he is cast into a net by his own feet,
    and he walks on its mesh.

¹⁰ Therefore ^(A)snares are all around you,
    and sudden terror overwhelms you,

⁸ Let ^(A)destruction come upon him ^(B)when he does not know it!
And let the net that he hid ensnare him;
    let him fall into it—to his destruction!

³ Thus says the Lord God:
    ^(A)I will throw my net over you
    with a host of ^(B)many peoples,
    and ^(C)they will haul you up in my dragnet.

⁶ An evil man is ^(A)ensnared in his transgression,
    but a righteous man ^(B)sings and rejoices.

²² The ^(A)iniquities of the wicked ^(B)ensnare him,
    and he is held fast in the cords of his sin.
