⁹ Yet the righteous will hold to his ^(A)way,
And he who has ^(B)clean hands will be stronger and stronger.

^15 (A)When you ^[a]spread out your hands,
I will hide My eyes from you;
^(B)Even though you make many prayers,
I will not hear.
Your hands are full of ^[b]blood.

³⁰ He will even deliver one who is not innocent;
Yes, he will be delivered by the purity of your hands.”

²⁹ He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
³⁰ Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
³¹ But those who ^(A)wait on the Lord
^(B)Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

^16 (A)A wise man fears and departs from evil,
But a fool rages and is self-confident.

⁷ They go ^(A)from strength to strength;
^[a]Each one ^(B)appears before God in Zion.

¹¹ For the Lord God is ^(A)a sun and ^(B)shield;
The Lord will give grace and glory;
^(C)No good thing will He withhold
From those who walk uprightly.
