⁹ Yet the righteous hold to their way,
    and they who have clean hands grow stronger and stronger.^(A)

¹⁸ But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn,
    which shines brighter and brighter until full day.^(A)

¹⁵ When you stretch out your hands,
    I will hide my eyes from you;
even though you make many prayers,
    I will not listen;
    your hands are full of blood.^(A)
16 Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean;
    remove your evil deeds
    from before my eyes;
cease to do evil;^(B)

¹⁶ The wise are cautious and turn away from evil,
    but the fool throws off restraint and is careless.^(A)

³⁰ He will deliver even those who are guilty;
    they will escape because of the cleanness of your hands.”^[a](A)

²⁹ He gives power to the faint
    and strengthens the powerless.^(A)
30 Even youths will faint and be weary,
    and the young will fall exhausted,
³¹ but those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
    they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
    they shall walk and not faint.^(B)

¹¹ For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
    he bestows favor and honor.
No good thing does the Lord withhold
    from those who walk uprightly.^(A)

⁷ They go from strength to strength;
    the God of gods will be seen in Zion.^(A)
