⁹ Nevertheless, the righteous^(A) will hold to their ways,
    and those with clean hands^(B) will grow stronger.^(C)

¹⁸ The path of the righteous^(A) is like the morning sun,^(B)
    shining ever brighter till the full light of day.^(C)

¹⁵ When you spread out your hands^(A) in prayer,
    I hide^(B) my eyes from you;
even when you offer many prayers,
    I am not listening.^(C)

Your hands^(D) are full of blood!^(E)

¹⁶ Wash^(F) and make yourselves clean.
    Take your evil deeds out of my sight;^(G)
    stop doing wrong.^(H)

³⁰ He will deliver even one who is not innocent,^(A)
    who will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.”^(B)

²⁹ He gives strength^(A) to the weary^(B)
    and increases the power of the weak.
³⁰ Even youths grow tired and weary,
    and young men^(C) stumble and fall;^(D)
31 but those who hope^(E) in the Lord
    will renew their strength.^(F)
They will soar on wings like eagles;^(G)
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint.^(H)

¹⁶ The wise fear the Lord and shun evil,^(A)
    but a fool^(B) is hotheaded and yet feels secure.

⁷ They go from strength to strength,^(A)
    till each appears^(B) before God in Zion.^(C)

¹¹ For the Lord God is a sun^(A) and shield;^(B)
    the Lord bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does he withhold^(C)
    from those whose walk is blameless.
