17 “My spirit is broken; my days are ^(A)extinct;
    ^(B)the graveyard is ready for me.

¹⁷ The sacrifices of God are ^(A)a broken spirit;
    a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

¹⁴ behold, ^(A)my servants shall sing for gladness of heart,
    but you shall cry out for pain of heart
    and shall wail for breaking of spirit.
