7 But now He has (A)exhausted me;
You have laid (B)waste all my group of loved ones.
8 And you have shriveled me up,
[a](C)It has become a witness;
And my (D)infirmity rises up against me,
It testifies to my face.
9 His anger has (E)torn me and [b]hunted me down,
He has (F)gnashed at me with His teeth;
My (G)enemy [c]glares at me.
10 They have (H)gaped at me with their mouths,
They have [d](I)slapped me on the cheek with contempt;
They have (J)massed themselves against me.
11 God hands me over to criminals,
And tosses me into the hands of the wicked.
12 I was at ease, but (K)He shattered me,
And He has grasped me by my neck and shaken me to pieces;
He has also set me up as His (L)target.
13 His (M)arrows surround me.
He splits my kidneys open without mercy;
He pours out (N)my bile on the ground.
14 He (O)breaks through me with breach after breach;
He (P)runs at me like a warrior.

7 Surely, God, you have worn me out;(A)
you have devastated my entire household.(B)
8 You have shriveled me up—and it has become a witness;
my gauntness(C) rises up and testifies against me.(D)
9 God assails me and tears(E) me in his anger(F)
and gnashes his teeth at me;(G)
my opponent fastens on me his piercing eyes.(H)
10 People open their mouths(I) to jeer at me;(J)
they strike my cheek(K) in scorn
and unite together against me.(L)
11 God has turned me over to the ungodly
and thrown me into the clutches of the wicked.(M)
12 All was well with me, but he shattered me;
he seized me by the neck and crushed me.(N)
He has made me his target;(O)
13 his archers surround me.(P)
Without pity, he pierces(Q) my kidneys
and spills my gall on the ground.
14 Again and again(R) he bursts upon me;
he rushes at me like a warrior.(S)
