¹⁸ What wise men have told,
Not hiding anything received ^(A)from their fathers,

¹⁹ The living, the living man, he shall praise You,
As I do this day;
^(A)The father shall make known Your truth to the children.

³ Which we have heard and known,
And our fathers have told us.
^4 (A)We will not hide them from their children,
^(B)Telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord,
And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.

¹⁸ Now also ^(A)when I am old and grayheaded,
O God, do not forsake me,
Until I declare Your strength to this generation,
Your power to everyone who is to come.

^10 (A)Both the gray-haired and the aged are among us,
Much older than your father.
