¹⁸ That they are like ^(A)straw before the wind,
    and like ^(B)chaff that the storm carries away?

²⁰ a bruised reed he will not break,
    and a smoldering wick he will not quench,
until he brings justice to victory;

^13 (A)The nations roar like the roaring of many waters,
    ^(B)but he will rebuke them, and they will flee far away,
chased ^(C)like chaff on the mountains before the wind
    and ^(D)whirling dust before the storm.
