¹⁸ Now that I have prepared my case,^(A)
    I know I will be vindicated.^(B)
19 Can anyone bring charges against me?^(C)
    If so, I will be silent^(D) and die.^(E)

²⁰ “Only grant me these two things, God,
    and then I will not hide from you:
²¹ Withdraw your hand^(F) far from me,
    and stop frightening me with your terrors.^(G)
22 Then summon me and I will answer,^(H)
    or let me speak, and you reply to me.^(I)
23 How many wrongs and sins have I committed?^(J)
    Show me my offense and my sin.^(K)
24 Why do you hide your face^(L)
    and consider me your enemy?^(M)
25 Will you torment^(N) a windblown leaf?^(O)
    Will you chase^(P) after dry chaff?^(Q)
