Job 11:10-12
New Living Translation
10 If God comes and puts a person in prison
or calls the court to order, who can stop him?
11 For he knows those who are false,
and he takes note of all their sins.
12 An empty-headed person won’t become wise
any more than a wild donkey can bear a human child.[a]
Footnotes
- 11:12 Or than a wild male donkey can bear a tame colt.
Job 11:10-12
Lexham English Bible

and summons the assembly,[b] then[c] who can hinder him?

12 But[g] an empty-headed person[h] will get understanding
when[i] a wild donkey’s colt is born as a human being.
